The CALT 10 leakage tester is a microprocessor-based instrument designed primarily for the measurement of air leakage rates from containers or container closures and is especially appropriate for leakage testing double O-ring seal closures.
The instrument is a self-contained unit which performs all timings, measurements, calculations, and output of results. All calculations required during the testing are performed by the built-in software, which is menu driven.
Particular attention has been given to the implementation of the IAEA Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material, standards for leakage testing ISO 12807 and ANSI N14.5, and the need to maintain and demonstrate Quality Assurance (QA) when preparing containers for shipments.
